2.5 is completely unusable right now in Logic 10.7.1 on Monterey. When you start playback in Logic a ghost note is triggered and gets stuck. Every single time. Do you guys test this thing before you release it?!

JMRI 4.2 and later will work on any macOS or MacOS X version back to 10.7.3 Lion (2012). Note: MacOS X Lion 10.7.1 and 10.7.2 will have to be updated to 10.7.3. If your Mac hardware doesn't let you update MacOS X to a recent enough version, you can still use older versions of JMRI: Mac OS X version 10.7.2 "Lion" through 10.6 "Snow Leopard" can run JMRI 3.10.1 using Java 1.7. (The youngest Mac that can't run Mountain Lion was shipped in 2009)
Mac OS X version 10.5 "Leopard" through 10.4 "Tiger" can run JMRI 2.14.1 using Java 1.6. (The youngest Mac that can't run Tiger was shipped in 2003)
For even older hardware, see a separate page.
The JMRI install will take up about 330 MB of disk space, mostly for the Help pages and decoder definitions.
4. The release version 10.7.0 contains many unresolved bugs and imperfectly implemented changes. As always, it may produce a more pleasant upgrade experience if you wait some weeks or months until 10.7.1 update or even 10.7.2 update has been released.
I didnt get this sorted out, the video card I had was 6870 and it was supposed to be the most compatible however thats simply not the case. DVD player and Ableton would not work for me after getting this card in lion. I figured out how to solve blank screen at boot through a lengthyy process of trial and error but I had no luck getting the applications to work. I had been working on this for a long time and asking questions and receiving no help, so I went back to windows which will work with very little work. As for the card you mention the 6970, its not going to play nice with osx out of the box. You will have to do some modding of files to run it im guessing. the best csrd (APPARENTLY) is the 6870 as it used on the real MAC PRO so apple has included kexts for it in osx.
Using a me.com account registered with AIM, AppleInsider has confirmed operation in Apple's Messages app for both Mavericks and Yosemite has been rendered unusable. It should be noted that Apple is not planning to drop support for AIM itself in current and future OS X versions; just accounts attached to legacy mac.com and me.com IDs, and only for Macs running OS X 10.7.1 or below.
